2020 Dodge Charger and 2020 Jeep Wrangler Earn ALG Residual Value Awards

The ALG Residual Value Awards look at vehicles across 27 categories and awards vehicles that are projected to hold the highest percentage of their Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price after a three year period. This year, the Dodge Charger and Jeep Wrangler both walked away with ALG Residual Value Awards for their departments.

As America’s only four-door muscle car, the Dodge Charger also added to its lineup with the SRT Hellcat Widebody and Charger Scat Pack Widebody. The 2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is powered by the 707 horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI Hellcat V-8 engine, and it can reach a top speed of 196 mph. Those features make it the most powerful and fastest mass-produced sedan in the world. With a record like that it is no wonder the Dodge Challenger earned its sixth consecutive ALG Residual Value Award for the Full-size car division.

“The Dodge Charger is somewhat of a rarity in the full-size segment with its sporty exterior, roomy interior and powerful engine at an affordable price point,” said Eric Lyman, Chief Industry Analyst at ALG, a subsidiary of TrueCar. “The Charger upholds its pack leader standing by maintaining value for consumers and winning its sixth consecutive ALG Residual Value Award.”

The Jeep Wrangler is more than just an iconic name brand, but it is also delivers unmatched off-road capabilities with more than 70 years of 4x4 engineering under its belt. The Jeep Wrangler not only offers a 3.6L Pentastar V-6 engine, but also recently added the 3.0L EcoDiesel engine to its lineup. With those specs and more, the Jeep Wrangler took home the ALG award for the Off-Road Utility division for the third year in a row.

“With its iconic design, off-road prowess and comfort and technology features, the Jeep Wrangler continues to attract an enthusiastic customer base,” Lyman said. “Winning the ALG Residual Value Award consecutively in the Off-road Utility segment, Wrangler is demonstrating to consumers that it’s much more than just a fun car, it’s also best-in-class in its segment at holding its value.”
