Tire Sizes: What You Need to Know

Your tires have a size to them. It's printed on the side of the tire in a special code of letters and numbers. The first letter is "P" which stands for passenger. The second letter, after the first slash, is "R" which is for radial construction. The first three-digit number is the width of the tire, measured in millimeters.
